Anna Disney - Maid of Honor
Anna is my cousin on my dad’s side, and from the time we were in diapers we’ve been partners-in-crime. She’s my tiny blonde other half, always on the same wavelength, and together we’ve been inseparable troublemakers since we could talk. Anna is hilarious, confident, and full of life—she lights up every room she walks into and has the kind of energy that makes you smile instantly. Some of my favorite memories with her are laughing until we cried at her parents’ house, bouncing on the trampoline, and epic Wii nights with Ainsley and Ty. Beautiful, smart, and endlessly funny, Anna is truly more than meets the eye, and I’m so grateful to have her by my side on this day.
Roxanna Sandage - Matron of Honor
Roxanna is my sister and has been by my side since the day I was born. She’s my rock, my constant support system, and the most loyal and generous person I know. Growing up, she was the responsible one—driving me to every dance class and voice lesson, cheering me through rehearsals, and keeping our family on track. Some of my favorite memories are singing in the car with her (and our crew), or going to see kids’ movies together long after we were “too old.” Roxanna’s caring heart, thoughtfulness, and ability to make everyone feel loved are unmatched, and I truly admire the way she takes care of the people she loves. I couldn’t imagine this day without her by my side.
Sarah Goldman - Bridesmaid
Sarah and I have been best friends since we met at rehearsals for The Jungle Book when we were about nine years old, making her my oldest and dearest friend. We’ve been through so much together, and she remains one of the most talented, funny, and motivated people I’ve ever known. One of my favorite memories is during the Les Misérables medley at Red Mountain—while we were frozen in the ensemble, I’d whisper things to make her laugh, and we’d both be in tears from trying to hold it in. Those moments, along with countless days spent at each other’s houses with Louis in tow, are treasures in my heart. Now a playwright and actress in New York City, Sarah inspires me with her devotion to her faith, her identity, and her family. She is truly one of a kind, and I’m so honored to have her stand beside me on this day.
Dina Zaher - Bridesmaid
Dina and I first met at Homewood Middle School, when I spotted her in the carpool line wearing the most fabulous dress. I ran up to compliment her, and that simple moment blossomed into a beautiful lifelong friendship. From the very beginning, we connected as true aesthetes, sharing an innate appreciation for beauty and style that shines through in everything we do. Dina is hardworking, independent, confident, and family-oriented, with impeccable taste that makes everyone around her feel just a little cooler. Some of my favorite memories include our senior-year trip to Egypt, where she introduced me to the other half of her world, as well as countless hours at Star Spangled Girls rehearsals and concerts together. Dina is fabulous—basically an Egyptian princess—yet also one of the most welcoming and generous souls I know. I deeply admire her bold style, her ambition, and her ability to make everyone feel included. With her incredible taste in music (fitting, since she now works at Spotify), Dina is truly an enigma—glamorous, grounded, and unforgettable. I feel so lucky to have her standing with me on this day.
Emily Donahue - Bridesmaid
Emily and I met during our time in Red Mountain Theater Company, back when we were both in Spotlights. From the very beginning, it felt like we shared a brain—she’s my comic relief, the Tina Fey to my Amy Poehler, and one of the funniest people I’ve ever known. Some of my favorite memories are simply nights at her place or mine, sharing a bottle of wine and laughing until our sides hurt—we can make an unforgettable night out of nothing at all. Emily is special to me because she always tells me the truth. She’s too good a friend to ever let me embarrass myself or forget who I am, and I admire her honesty and perspective so much. She has impeccable taste, a connoisseur’s eye for culture, and if you ever need a movie recommendation or a fresh take on a new show, she’s the one to ask. The way she observes and interprets the world is not only brilliant but wickedly funny. And while only a lucky few get to hear it, she’s also an incredible singer. Emily’s wit, warmth, and one-of-a-kind perspective make her truly unforgettable, and I’m so grateful to have her by my side.
Ainsley Disney - Bridesmaid
Ainsley is my cousin on my dad’s side, and over the years she’s grown from family into one of my dearest friends. She is grounded, thoughtful, and one of the best listeners I know—the kind of person you can talk to for hours about life, family, or anything at all. Ainsley has a quiet strength, a sweet and loyal spirit, and a way of making every conversation meaningful.
Some of my favorite memories with her are from when we grew older and our bond deepened, spending countless hours just talking and laughing together. It’s hard to believe that someone so beautiful could also be so kind and so smart, but that’s exactly who she is. I’ve loved watching her grow into such a confident, charismatic young woman who inspires me every time we’re together.
Ainsley also shares my love for animals—she and Anna are the reason all of my pets have voices and personalities of their own! I’m so grateful to have her by my side as I begin this new chapter.
Glenda Van De Graaf - Bridesmaid
Glenda is truly one of a kind. As Roxanna’s twin, she’s been with me since the very first day of my life, and I’ve never known the world without her in it. Where Rox is my steady rock, Glenda is the spark—she lights up every room she walks into with her charisma and warmth. She has an incredible gift for making instant friends and making everyone feel alive and included, and in adulthood, we’ve grown especially close. Some of my favorite memories with Glenda are visiting her in Jackson Hole and watching her thrive in her element. I never would have guessed she was destined to be a Wyoming cowgirl, but seeing her embrace the place she loves so much inspired me to dig deep and reflect on what I want for my own life. Glenda is always buzzing around, mingling and making friends everywhere she goes, but if you get her alone, you’ll see her inquisitive side. She’s thirsty for knowledge, has a keen eye for detail, and notices the strengths of others with such generosity of spirit. I admire her social skills most of all—where I can be more reserved, Glenda can talk to anyone, anywhere, about anything. It’s a true gift. On top of that, she’s a born storyteller, and her way of sharing a moment makes it unforgettable. Having her by my side on this day is such a joy.
